This seminar is open to the public and offers stakeholders across the West a chance to connect and collaborate in supporting farmers, ranchers, and agricultural workers through times of stress, fostering mental health awareness and rural resilience for producers, families, and communities.

Join Dr. Maud Macrory Powell as she presents on Cultivating Resilience for Ecological Distress, a seminar exploring the emotional impacts of environmental change on farmers, ranchers, and landowners. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience with Oregon State University Extension and her work as a farmer in Southern Oregon, Dr. Powell will share practical strategies for building resilience in the face of ecological loss, extreme weather events, and a rapidly changing environment.
